What styles of kitchens does Ashley Jay offer?

They offer a wide spectrum, tailored to client tastes: Traditional / Classic / Shaker / In-frame styles: drawing on heritage design, with elegant detailing. Contemporary / Modern: clean lines, innovative finishes, combining tradition and modern functionality. Something different / bespoke / creative designs: for clients wanting more imaginative or distinctive interiors (e.g. Art Deco, industrial influence).

What materials and finishes are available?

Ashley Jay sources high-quality materials and components from trusted UK and German manufacturers. In their showroom you’ll find samples of worktops (quartz, natural stone, timber, Corian, etc.) and various door finishes and colours. They emphasise that every door, drawer, internal component, and handle is selected to reflect exceptional craftsmanship.

What appliances do you work with?

They partner with leading appliance brands, including NEFF, Siemens, Miele, BORA, Sub-Zero & Wolf, and others. Their showroom includes displays featuring these appliances so you can see how they integrate into their designs.

Can Ashley Jay provide cabinetry beyond kitchens?

Yes — although kitchens are their main focus, they also design and build bespoke cabinetry for boot rooms, media walls, larders, utility rooms, and other fitted furniture.

Deep Green Luxe Modern Kitchen

This client’s house renovation created a grand open plan kitchen-diner which needed to provide the impact that the previous kitchen had lacked. Creating a fully paneled back wall allowed us to make the most of the spacious ceiling height while concealing a hidden utility walkway, appliances and oodles of storage, around the central wood feature. […]

Our Art Deco Kitchen Project

Shortlisted for the KBB review Design Awards 2024 ‘Best Kitchen’; this stunning Art Deco scheme was 12 years in the making for our clients who spent their time trying to track down the perfect company to provide the kitchen for the painstaking restoration of their period property. Our brief was to create a unique design […]

Bespoke Shaker Panelled Kitchen

This beautiful hand-painted in-frame kitchen was designed to create a unified look throughout multiple zones. The clients previously felt that the alcoves and multiple architectural doorways made the space feel disjointed, which they wanted to rectify with this renovation. We achieved a new unity throughout by matching the architectural doors to the kitchen and tailor-making […]

Twin Island Wood And White Kitchen

This contemporary kitchen combines matt glass-fronted doors with cashmere oak to create a simple, warm elegance. Mixing textures whilst retaining a sense of light were key elements of the brief for this full house refurbishment. These clients are keen cooks for whom the flow of the kitchen was key. To maximise the work surface and […]

something different

"Having moved house a few times in recent years, we have gone back time and time again to commission Ashley Jay and his brilliant team to design and fit kitchens for us. I have previously had quotes from a number of other companies but none compare to Ashley Jay's for quality, personal service (you really feel like you are special) and attention to detail. Yet again we are super pleased with the result. Huge thanks to a fantastic company."

-Jeannie, Worthing

"We are beyond thrilled with our Ashley Jay kitchen. We have had faultless attention and delivery throughout the process and we have no hesitation in recommending them."

-Peter, Sussex

"Ashley and his team have installed a dream slate and wood kitchen for us in our new home during the pandemic and we couldn't be happier with it! Right from our first meeting, Ashley not only understood our requirements well, but made some invaluable suggestions which we gratefully accepted. The quality of the kitchen itself is far superior to what we saw with other kitchen firms and bespoke requests were readily fulfilled, accommodating last minute requests as well... 10 months on, we re so pleased we chose them as we love our new kitchen and would strongly recommend Ashley Jay Kitchens for their quality, professionalism and attention to detail."
